Novacom is always flexible and strives to create not only Customer friendly development environment but business environment as well. Regularly we work on the basis of fixed-price model and time & material model: our account managers are well-practiced in choosing the best suitable and cost minimizing model.

Before we start working we close a contract in which pricing conditions, rights and obligations of sides, confidential issues, and assignment of intellectual property rights are stipulated.

Fixed-price Model

Novacom follows Fixed-price business model when the project details are thoroughly described in technical documentation. This allows us to estimate its scale and complexity and to calculate the final costs. In this case we close a contract in which we stipulate all rights and obligations of the sides, confidential issues, assignment of intellectual property rights, and accurate project costs. This type of contract is annexed with requirements specification and work progress schedule.

Time & Material Model

Time and Material business model is applied when the final project scale cannot be carefully examined and determined at the stage of settling a contract and the specification requirements can be changed within the development process (ex. long-term projects one year lasting and more), and therefore the accurate estimation cannot be done. In this case contract contains pricing methodology on the basis of executed work and operational costs. In terms of established pricing methodology (hourly, daily or monthly) and project reports we estimate the cost of each development stage. This model provides you with the maximum control over all development stages.
